Animation Preview

Not much progress this semester...I am in a funk. I hope I get the hell out of it soon since I kind of have a HUUUUGE film to finish by May. These both need a lot of work before I can call them ok tests, but it's something.

Coyote Zips in...not for my film btw.

Other Pieces...

Here are the rest of my stationary pieces for my Professional Studies class.
I like them, but it's not love so I am sure they will evolve greatly between now and May.

Here Have My Card.

Ooooo So professional! Not really, but it's one of my ideas for a business card. I need to get some stuff ready for CTX and it's cute enough.

Shhh! He's sleeping.

New Stuff!

Here are some model sheets I did for my bear character, plus a quick motion study I did trying to understand how a bear moves to get the correct feeling of pace and weight.

(Yes I know he has no arms, it was deliberate.)

Coyote V 5.0...and counting!

Last week was very busy for me with the first draft of my Senior Capstone due. If you don't know what that is it's essentially a senior thesis about our art. Really we do nothing but stroke our own ego and act like our process, influences, and art are so glorious and unique. :P

But! I also did this (^.^)....

It still needs some tweaks to make it stronger in some parts, but it's all there and its mostly just things that need to be worked out when I get to animation. Plus! I am finally starting to feel comfortable with Final Cut.

OGO!

My next animation test is already shaping up to be really fun. We have to take a 10 sec. clip of a song and make a character move to it on the beats. Since I am still working out how I want my film characters to look and move I decided to go with a pre-established character. So I chose Ogo, Chris Sanders' character from his web comic KISKALOO, I have wanted to do something with him for a while so I am really excited, here's some sketches I've been playing around with.

((animation coming soon))

What can I say other than, "Da'w look at that wittle face."? (0.~)
